This Privacy Policy explains how SubVu handles personal data when you use the app and related pages.

We collect only the data needed to run the service.
- Account and authentication data, including email and sign-in identifiers.
- App data you provide, including subscriptions, recurring costs, and preferences.
- Technical and security data, including basic logs and error details for reliability and abuse prevention.
We do not use third-party analytics trackers in the app.
2. How we use your data
- Provide and operate SubVu.
- Authenticate you and secure your account.
- Sync and store your data across sessions/devices.
- Send account-related emails, including confirmation emails.
- Handle support and legal requests.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or misuse.
3. Legal basis
Where applicable, we process personal data on these bases:
- Contract, to provide the service you request.
- Legitimate interests, for security and reliability.
- Legal obligation, where required by law.
- Consent, where consent is required.
4. Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell your personal data.
We share data with service providers only as needed to run SubVu, including Supabase, Apple, email delivery providers used for account emails, and Exchange Rate API for public exchange rate data. When you use multi-currency features while online, the app requests rate data directly from your device to their service. That request may involve standard technical information (such as IP address) processed under their policies. Your subscription amounts and item details are not sent to them.
5. Data retention
We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account data unless retention is required by law, fraud prevention, or security needs.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and export your data, and to object to certain processing where applicable.

7. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers.
8. Children
SubVu is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
